The Traveler Alder from Denduron! The most loyal, big-hearted Traveler of all time. :heart: I'm going to draw a series of pictures--of the Travelers from the Pendragon series by D.J. MacHale. Because they all are pretty much awesome. :3 ((And it helps with different characterizations/poses and landscapes--which is obvious that I need practice on. ))

But this is a weird feeling . . . there is so much . . . white space . . . O.o

OOokay so . . . I REALLY have found out what it feels like to color on the wrong side of this finicky marker paper, yo! Stinks that I always color skin first! His face is all icky now . . . and grainy . . . and nearly gray. D:

And I already drew some of the other characters on this paper as well--I SO hope that they are on the right side! Eek!

And . . . well after I inked the guy . . . he almost started resembling my Yinn. O.o

Anyway ALDER! ENJOY!

Next up . . . SPADER! :flirty: :flirty:

I always pictured him to be like...just the tinest bit wider...I dunno..I guess I used my cousin as a base because he's big and blonde...and I guess a little clumsy. (He's not fat..he's just reeeally tall, like...6'2 at least, and still growing..and he's wirey, he's like..solid. That's it! Yeah. ^_^)
But he still looks AWESOME!! :glomp:
And once again, (I've said this before, just not in this comment,) I love your style!!

I enjoy the clean whire space! It give it that vignette appearance. And besides, I think the white background goes nicely with that snowy scenery. @,@It doesnt snow where I come from...

The foreshortening on the hand that holds the sword is perfect (fingers! AH!) And I love your choice of color. Or maybe its just because I love brown-red and dark blonde hair. Are those freckles? MOAR FRECKLES.

But seriously, those trees are beautiful. @,@ You make me so happy.

I've never read the series this character comes from... which is slightly depressing considering that I'm some sort of bookworm. This is a great picture though, setting aside the miscoloured skin tone, but you already know all about that, and I can't wait to see more of the characters in this series! ^^

Yeah, me too. When I had drawn him before I added the armor I was so proud cause he was all muscles and pecs and it looked really good proportion-wise but then the armor came and then he looked rather thin. O.o Which upset me because he needs to be solid to give them huge bear hugs!! (awww I just love Alder. :flirty: )
