Sad! I tried making her more human--like, her elbows, and shortening her nose and adding her apposable thumbs and all that. And the form of her feet and all. But then . . . she started to look icky. Sorry Kasha! We still love you. ;__;
So this is Kasha, the Traveler from the jungle territory called Eelong. From the 5th book in the Pendragon series, "Black Water" by D.J. MacHale. I loved this book--it was one of my favorites of the series, mostly because it's when everything got all twisted. :3 And Bobby had a LOT of hardships.
I'm doing this right? I just say I want to put this in the club here?
Next up . . . LOOR! Yay! I love Loor, been waiting to draw her forever!
That panther is wearing shorts! Though I imagine she's not really a panther but a panther-sort of creature with THUMBS OMG! @,@ I love the dappled light on her; it looks just as if its filtering through the leaves of those lovely emerald trees. And I'm really starting to appreciate your backgrounds. @.@ You're really good at naturalistic settings.

AWESOME!! I like the vines going around the edge in the background. Very nice touch. And her expression! She looks MAD! Put sanely: everything looks fabulous.
YAY LOOR!!

*gasp* Oh my gosh!!! Seriously??? I totally thought they had tails! What would balance their bodies out when they're running?? Egad! Now I REALLY butchered her. Forgive me Kasha, forgive . . . *shakes head*
xD Thanks!

Alas! Cat-tails are so much fun too @,@ My cat has a tail. I enjoy it very much.
But think: It could've been more traumatic! You could've mistaken her for another type of cat altogether, like a leopard or a panther! I've seen many-a-fanart where a character consistantly descibed as dark-skinned/red-skinned/ not-caucasian is drawn caucasian.
I once thought Aeriel from the Darkangel trilogy was a redhead (wishful thinking) and it turned out she was blonde!>.< But those fan-arts are all in black-n-white so you can't tell!

You know, California used to have a jaguar population! until..they were all killed off. x.x but I read an article recently saying that there were some living nearby: like, a whole two of them. They're very rare. I hope they make a comeback. It would be so cool to have jaguars in my state @,@
But I always liked the carcal (spelling?) You know, those desert cat's with the really pointy ears? @,@

Don't feel bad. I probably would have given her a tail too.
